Marlie Mundt

Marlie grew up in Central City, going on fun runs with her family. She competed for Nebraska Christian where she was a 2-time State Qualifier in Cross Country. She was also part of their Nebraska High School State Runner-Up Track and Field team in 2021. She is now attending Concordia University in Seward, NE, studying Secondary English Education with a Coaching Endorsement. She has future plans to teach and coach Cross Country and Track and Field. She continues to enjoy running and lifting and finds herself training for a variety of races. In the last year, she ran a 10k and 2 half-marathons. Marlie organized the Bubble Run Fundraiser during Lone Tree Days in 2024 and plans to keep this event going in the future. She really appreciates how running can foster resiliency, confidence, and discipline. She loves encouraging others

to reach their goals and building community through running. Outside of running, she enjoys baking, reading, being outside, and spending time with friends and family.
